Top Places for Live Music in Jupiter, Florida

by Chris Morrissey

There's something about live music in Jupiter that just feels different.

Maybe it's listening to a local band with your toes in the sand, grabbing a drink under the banyan trees, or watching the sunset with great music playing in the background.

Whether you're planning date night, a weekend with friends, or entertaining visitors, these are my favorite spots to catch live music around Jupiter.

🌴 1. Guanabanas

Best For: Tropical Vibes & Island Music

If there were a soundtrack to Jupiter, I think it would be playing at Guanabanas.

Nestled beneath massive banyan trees with waterfront views and a tropical atmosphere, this iconic local favorite pairs live music with island-inspired cocktails, fresh seafood, and one of the most unique outdoor dining experiences in South Florida.

Whether you're stopping by for brunch, happy hour, or a late-night drink, the atmosphere always feels like you're on vacation.

☀️ Make a Day of It

Reserve a paddleboard at Blueline Surf & Paddle, explore the Intracoastal, then walk across the street for dinner and live music at Guanabanas. It's one of my favorite ways to spend a Saturday in Jupiter.

🍹 2. Square Grouper Tiki Bar

Best For: Sunset Drinks & Waterfront Live Music

There's no place quite like Square Grouper.

Located on Love Street with front-row views of the Jupiter Lighthouse and Jupiter Inlet, it's one of the best places in town to grab a drink, enjoy live music, and watch the boats cruise by.

Fun Fact: If the scenery looks familiar, there's a reason! Square Grouper was featured in the music video for Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett's classic hit, "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere." The laid-back waterfront setting perfectly captures the carefree Florida lifestyle that makes Jupiter so special.

Chris' Local Tip ⭐: Grab a seat outside with a frozen drink just before sunset. Between the lighthouse views, live music, and boats cruising through the inlet, it's about as "Jupiter" as it gets.

🤠 3. Cowboy Club

Best For: Country Music

Okay... I know this one technically isn't in Jupiter.

But I'm making an exception because it's absolutely worth the drive.

Cowboy Club brings a little bit of Texas to South Florida with live country music, great barbecue, and a fun atmosphere that's hard to find anywhere else in Palm Beach County.

Let's just say... I married a Texas girl, so leaving Cowboy Club off this list wasn't really an option. Consider this my unofficial nod to Ella Langley and all the country fans who believe every great night starts with good music and a pair of boots.

☀️ Make a Day of It

Start your Saturday morning at the West Palm Beach GreenMarket with coffee and breakfast while listening to live music. After shopping the market, take a walk along the waterfront, explore Clematis Street, and grab lunch or dinner at the Cowboy Club.

🎶 4. Harbourside Place

Best For: Family-Friendly Outdoor Concerts

If you're looking for a relaxed evening with live music, Harbourside Place is always a great choice.

Throughout the year, the waterfront amphitheater hosts local musicians, tribute bands, and seasonal concerts. With restaurants, bars, shopping, and beautiful marina views all within walking distance, it's one of Jupiter's easiest places to spend an entire evening.

Chris' Local Tip ⭐: Check the entertainment calendar before you head over. Between concerts, food festivals, holiday events, and local markets, there's almost always something happening.

☀️ Make a Day of It

Grab dinner at Mana Greek, listen to live music, then take a stroll along the marina with an ice cream or coffee in hand.

🎤 5. Abacoa Amphitheater

Best For: Community Concerts & Family Nights

One of the things I love most about Jupiter is how often the community comes together, and the Abacoa Amphitheater is one of the best places to experience that.

Throughout the year, the amphitheater hosts free concerts, tribute bands, food truck nights, holiday celebrations, and community festivals. It's the kind of place where you'll see neighbors setting up lawn chairs, kids dancing in front of the stage, and families enjoying an evening outdoors.

If you're new to Jupiter, this is one of the easiest ways to feel like a local.

Chris' Local Tip ⭐: Bring a couple of lawn chairs or a blanket and arrive a little early to grab a good spot. If there's a food truck event, come hungry—there's usually a great variety of local favorites.

☀️ Make a Day of It

Spend the afternoon exploring Downtown Abacoa, grab dinner or drinks at one of the nearby restaurants, then head over to the amphitheater for a free concert under the stars. If you're visiting during baseball season, you're in luck—Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium is just a short walk away, making it easy to catch a St. Louis Cardinals or Miami Marlins spring training game, or a Jupiter Hammerheads or Palm Beach Cardinals minor league game before the evening concert.

Live Music Is Part of the Jupiter Lifestyle

One of the things I love most about living in Jupiter is that every weekend offers something different.

One night might mean waterfront acoustic music while watching the sunset. The next could be country music and line dancing. Or maybe it's a tropical cocktail beneath the banyan trees while a local band plays in the background.

That's what makes this community so special. You're never far from great music, great food, and even better company.
