5 Best Waterfront Restaurants in Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens (Where the Food Is Just as Good as the View)

by Chris Morrissey

One of the best parts about living in Jupiter is that dinner doesn't have to be just dinner.

It's sunset over the Intracoastal. Boats cruising by. A tropical cocktail in hand. Maybe live music in the background. And if you plan it right, your reservation can turn into an entire afternoon or evening exploring everything our waterfront has to offer.

Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply soaking up another beautiful Florida evening, these are five waterfront restaurants that I always recommend.

1. Waterway Cafe ⭐ Chris’ Local Pick

If you're looking for classic waterfront dining with beautiful Intracoastal views, Waterway Cafe is one of my favorites.

The expansive outdoor patio is perfect for watching boats cruise by, but what really sets Waterway apart is its floating bar. There's just something fun about sipping a cocktail while sitting right on the water.

Whether you're meeting friends for happy hour, planning a date night, or celebrating a special occasion, Waterway always delivers.

Chris' Local Pick ⭐: Their happy hour is one of the best around. Monday through Friday from 3–6 PM, enjoy Veuve Clicquot for just $15 a glass, along with plenty of other drink and appetizer specials.

☀️ Make a Day of It

Before or after dinner, book a cruise with Pontiki and enjoy a relaxing ride along the Intracoastal. It's one of my favorite ways to spend an afternoon before heading to Waterway for happy hour and dinner.

2. Guanabanas

No waterfront restaurant list would be complete without Guanabanas.

This iconic Jupiter restaurant feels like a tropical island escape tucked beneath towering banyan trees. Between the lush landscaping, waterfront seating, and live music, it's one of the most unique dining experiences in South Florida.

Fresh seafood, island-inspired dishes, and frozen cocktails make this a place you'll find yourself coming back to again and again.

☀️ Make a Day of It

Walk across the street to Blueline Surf & Paddle and rent a paddleboard. Spend an hour (or 2) exploring the calm Intracoastal before rewarding yourself with dinner and a tropical drink at Guanabanas.

3. Latitudes at Jupiter Beach Resort

This one is one of Jupiter's best-kept secrets because many people assume it's only for hotel guests—but it's open to everyone.

Located inside Jupiter Beach Resort, Latitudes offers a more elevated dining experience without feeling overly formal. It's the perfect choice when you're looking for something a little nicer while still embracing the laid-back coastal vibe that makes Jupiter so special.

Chris' Local Pick ⭐: The fish tacos are absolutely fire.

After your meal, head over to the pool bar, which is also open to the public, and order a piña colada while overlooking the ocean. It feels like you've escaped on vacation without ever leaving Jupiter.

4. Lucky Shuck Oyster Bar & Taphouse

Lucky Shuck combines fresh coastal cuisine with one of the best waterfront settings in Jupiter. Overlooking Love Street and the Jupiter Inlet, it's the perfect spot to enjoy great food, craft cocktails, and beautiful sunset views.

Whether you're planning a casual lunch, date night, or dinner with friends, Lucky Shuck has something for everyone—which is one of the reasons it's become such a local favorite.

Local Pick ⭐: If you're a seafood lover, don't skip the fresh oysters or the poke tacos—both are local favorites. Not a seafood fan? The brisket loaded cornbread is absolutely worth ordering and proves this menu has something delicious for everyone.

5. U-Tiki Beach

U-Tiki is one of my favorite recommendations, located right on the Jupiter Inlet.

One thing I especially love is how kid-friendly it is. Little ones can safely watch the boats come and go along the docks, and the spacious outdoor seating area features couches, TVs, turf, and sand that give kids room to move around while everyone enjoys the view.

It's also one of the best waterfront restaurants in Jupiter for larger groups because there's plenty of room to spread out without feeling cramped.

☀️ Make a Day of It

Spend the afternoon at Dubois Park or Jupiter Beach before heading over to U-Tiki for dinner and watching the boats come in as the sun sets.

Waterfront Dining Is Part of the Jupiter Lifestyle

One of the reasons people fall in love with Jupiter isn't just the beaches—it's evenings like these.

Whether you're sipping champagne at a floating bar, paddleboarding before dinner, enjoying fish tacos overlooking the ocean, or watching boats cruise through the inlet with your family, these restaurants capture what living in Jupiter is all about.

And honestly? That's what makes Jupiter feel like home.
